Your website looks fabulous and you are getting traffic to your site so why aren't you getting any sales?
Imagine giving a sales pitch face to face to your most valuable customer. You develop a rapport. You create a convincing picture of all the benefits they can get from using your product or service. Then you just end the conversation by saying, "Thanks for your time. See you again soon."

According to Wikipedia, a call to action, or CTA, as it pertains to marketing, is an instruction to the audience to provoke an immediate response, usually using a very important verb such as "call now", "find our more", or "visit a store today."
The same goes for your website. You can blow your visitor away with your web design and your winning sales copy but if you don't include a call to action, you'll leave your prospect wondering what to do next.
Having a clear call to action is one of the fist things we look for when we do a website analysis and the reason is that it is a proven technique to increasing your conversion rate.
Sure, you might get lucky and get a diligent visitor that will find your phone number and give you a call about your services but it's more likely that your prospect will just leave your site and go somewhere else where there is a clear call to action.
So don't leave your prospects wondering what to do next. Make sure your call to action is crystal clear and highly visible, so you can increase website conversions, opt-ins, and sales.
Your call to action can to as simple as "Call Now", or something more complex like filling out a contact form. Tell your prospect exactly what it is you want them to do and how to do it.
