Back when I was a newbie to WordPress, I had no idea that there were people out there who just like to cause mischief. It makes no sense to me why someone would want access to my website but that's just me. Because I was in the home security industry for so long, I realized that it doesn't have to make sense, you just have to be prepared for it. It's very often not a case of "if it's going to happen" but more like a case of

Now that I create websites for small business owners, I feel that it is my duty to do everything that I can to protect my clients from this kind of maliciousness. Especially since one of my clients was actually hacked by someone and his site was blacklisted by Google for a short time.
