Amy Howard, Co-Owner, CBO, Internet Marketing Expert

My Journey to Becoming a Webmaster
Amy hasn’t always been a webmaster. Her first career was as a soldier in the US Army. Fist as a finance specialist then as a voice intercept specialist with a language. After the first Gulf War, the Army was downsizing and asked for volunteers to leave the military. She didn’t really want to go back to the Middle East, so she left the military after eight years of service.
From the Army to Burglar Alarms
Her husband at the time (he’s now an ex) was from South Florida and Amy soon found herself working for her now ex-father-in-law in the burglar alarm industry. She says she didn’t particularly like the home security industry but whe was pretty good at it. She has a knack for being able to translate the technical jargon into something a typical home owner can understand. After more than 20 years, she is proud to say that she still has a hand in the burglar alarm industry.
Through MLM’s I Fell in Love with Marketing
She has also had a hand or probably more precisely a wallet in the network marketing/MLM industry. During this phase of her education, (She prefers to call it an educational experience as opposed to a failure) she discovered a love for marketing. She finds it very interesting watching people and how they react to different forms of advertising. Even though Amy wasn’t able to make network marketing work for her, she still uses many of the marketing techniques that she learned during that part of her life.

A Web Designer With Marketing Skills is Born
Which brings us to today. While trying to get information about her products online, Amy found herself building websites. Not very good mind you but building them just the same and loving it. Here she was working with another foreign language (if you’ve ever seen the code used to build web sites, you know what we mean). Amy actually started to enjoy creating something that looked good on the Internet and when a prospect actually responded to it, well that was just icing on the cake.
She decided to go back to school to learn how to build websites properly. Today you have access to someone who not only knows how to create a web site but you also get someone who knows marketing. You see, most websites on the Internet today really don’t do anything to attract new customers. They are really nothing more than an online form of a paper brochure.
Amy enjoys skiing, running (well maybe “enjoy” is a little strong when it comes to running), reading, and learning all things to do with WordPress, web design, and marketing. She lives with her husband, James, and their two cats.
