PUPs: Pets Uniting People Society is an organization near and dear to my heart. Putting animals first, taking care of them, and making sure they live their lives as safely and healthy as possible is their mission. I have the privilege of working with them to design their website, https://pupsunite.org/, and their magazine.
Their website contains a library of the magazine PUPs On A Mission

Thank you for the opportunity, PUPs. I love working with you!

Kathleen is following her dream by opening a bed and breakfast. She wanted a Victorian-looking logo with a modern flair since this elegant Victorian-style home is in the heart of the vibrant South End in Burlington, Vermont. She showed us a picture of a lamp. Working together, we came up with the colors, then the image. We ended with finding the perfect fonts to match. Kathleen will be using the logo labels for her homemade jam and other collateral throughout her marketing.
We proudly present her new logo and Brand Specification Guide.
One more thing. If you’re ever in Burlington, Vermont, book you a few nights at the Burlington Victorian Vacation Rentals and enjoy some of her homemade jam! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/46829883

Thank you, Kathleen. It was a privilege to work with you We appreciate your loyalty and business over the last years and look forward to working you for many more.

Recently, a client contacted us to create something that they would be able to send to customers letting them know they were being thought of during this trying time of the pandemic.
This is what we came up with:Sour Cream Devlied Eggs Flyer

They sent these flyers out to their clients and received such a positive response. I woke up on Saturday morning to this email:
Happy Palm Sunday Myra.
Wanted to let you know that we have had several of our past clients tell us that they appreciated us sending them the Deviled Egg sour cream recipe. Mary Staton cooked them as well for us, and we all liked them. In short the flyer was a hit and we very much appreciate your creativity in putting this together and helping us spread some good will with a positive message of keeping the faith.
Sincerely,
Bert
Thank you Bert! During these times, it is nice to hear positivity. Be safe everyone!

Designing a website for painting company tasked with adding to the interior aesthetics of a place is always a tough task. Not only do you have to give your best, but you have to make sure that the customers coming into the website get to see the full blend of what is being offered by the service.
We recently had the opportunity to work with Creative Painting Systems and were tasked with creating a unique website with them.
The Challenge
The challenge of creating the website for Creative Painting Systems was that we were probably looking to play with as many colors as possible.
The Design:
We coordinated with our design team, and discussed the idea of adding as many colors as possible. Now, the addition of colors inside a website can easily become too overwhelming. Visitors to a webpage are often lost for words when they visit a site with too many colors and forget what they actually had come for. We didn’t want such a conundrum, which is why we added a good mix of blue, white, yellow and red.
The Result
The end result was aesthetic, and we could see the culmination of all that the client wanted, within this website. We showed the website to the client, and were glad to know that they loved the idea and how it was implemented.
George Born, the CEO of Creative Painting Systems, was impressed with the work and gave us a review on our Google Business Page. The review read, “I can’t say enough good things about Myra and her crew of Print and Web Designer. She originally created my website several years ago, as well as business cards and graphic design work that goes along with it. Myra also recently updated our website. Myra created a visually beautiful website, she picked my brain and created just what I wanted. Along with that, her knowledge of optimizing my website for search engines is so good, I am always listed top three in Google searches and very high organic listings. She is very quick and responsive to all my questions, and has been so helpful, and has great ideas and suggestions. I HIGHLY recommend Print and Web Designer – Phyllis & George Creative Painting Systems.”
We were pleased to have worked with Creative Painting Systems and to have achieved their satisfaction. We strive to satisfy all our clients like this. If you’re ready for a refresh of your website, contact Print and Web Designer to get started.

Websites are not something you build once and forget about for 10 years. We often compare them to houses in their need for maintenance. Unfortunately, with websites, you sometimes have to tear down the whole thing and start over as technology evolves.
Challenges: That was the case with Residential Treatment Services of Alamance, a community that helps people in recovery from addiction. Their old site was built with Adobe Flash in the 1990s. At the time, the technology and the site were cutting edge. The web has changed dramatically since then. Developers have found more secure and better solutions to produce the same result, especially in a world where we scroll more with our fingertips than with mouse clicks. Today, most browsers don’t support Flash, making it difficult for RTSA to reach their audiences and support their mission.
Solution: The people at RTSA knew it was time to rebuild their website, but of course such a project is intimidating. Anne Baker at RTSA said they needed a website that could accept online donations, announce events and opportunities as well as help with marketing RTSA
Result: We created a new site that not only offers those features and more, but uses today’s best coding practices so it will function well across browsers and devices.
More importantly, Print and Web Designer now helps maintain the website. Many business owners “set it and forget it,” not realizing how crucial it is to run updates regularly on software and servers. This ensures not only a more secure site but decreases chances of something breaking or not working later. After all, if you run a nonprofit, you want your donation page to function when someone is ready to give you a credit card number!
We will also help send the monthly RTSA newsletter by placing it on their website in a magazine format. That’s one less thing for the team to do while they focus on their mission.
“Print and Web Designer was friendly, efficient and produced a great website,” Baker said. “Print and Web Design was a pleasure to work with.”
Thank you, Anne, for the review. We loved helping RTSA rebuild their site. If you’re ready for a refresh of your website, contact us to get started.

Relocating a scientific or medical laboratory or an entire company isn’t easy, but that’s exactly what Magellan Logistics does every single day. While Magellan’s reputation for quality, on-time work has led to a busy schedule, every business needs a website where new customers can learn more. We were thrilled to build a site that explains Megellan’s work and looks as top-notch as their services.

Challenges: The shipping and packing industry has a lot of terminology that most consumers find confusing. People often don’t know what they need; they just know they need to move their office, art, or home and want everything to arrive safely. Although Magellan keeps up with the best practices, they had let their website lapse. Potential clients might visit the site and be left wondering if the company’s work was as outdated as their website.

Solutions: Our Print and Web Designer team redesigned the site. We adjusted their existing logo to maintain the brand but gave it a refreshed look. Now, the image will work for today’s marketing needs, from social media to online ads, but should also last many years. We also wrote far more content for their website, making it easier to find in search results and easier for consumers to understand their packing process and services.

Result: The result is a professional site that confirms what people hear about Magellan and its techniques: a trustworthy moving and packing service.
“Myra and her team upgraded our business with a redesigned website and logo,” said Steve Schafer of Magellan. “They worked with us every step of the way with communication and listening to our ideas. I would definitely recommend Print and Web Designer to help your business grow.”
